Just got my new Quark 123*2 Tactical with the S2 LED. I already have the same light with XP-G R5, so I thought I might get a few more lumens with the S2 version. I can't really tell which is brighter with the naked eye, I think the S2 has a slight edge.
But one thing for sure, the S2 is very green tint (almost too green for me), while the R5 is much cooler.
Just thought I'd share this feedback in case anyone is contemplating either of these lights.
