Has anyone else had problems with a Nitecore EX11, D11, or the predecessors?
I just got mine about an hour ago in the mail. The UI works perfectly as advertised when the bezel is loose for momentary mode. The UI works just as advertised when tightened just enough to activate permanent on/off. I can turn the light on, ramp from low to high [5-200 lumens], SOS, and strobe effectively in this position.
The problems arise when I tighten the bezel all the way until it can't go any further. Permanent on/off mode still works but the tightness seems to mess with the piston and my clicks don't register properly with the adjustments and other functions. I have noticed the UI won't ramp from bright to dim when tightened all the way. It will ramp from 200 lumens down to about 150, and back up but won't go below that mark. It also does some pretty wacky things when tightened all the way.
I couldn't find anything in the instruction manual that points to this as being a normal feature.
Any input?
