I struggle with my smaller EDC lights with output options only at the tail cap and would like an easy to switch bezel ring or front housing adjustment. When out in the bush I find myself constantly changing hand positions to switch output modes. The JetBeam RRT-0 is an ideal contender but I would like a better battery option (without using an extender).
Preferred EDC Configuration:
Maximum 4 long (100mm), give or take 1/4 or so
Runs an 18650, or similar power source
Bezel ring, or similar output adjustment, 4 light levels (no strobe)
High quality pocket clip
Beam with a nice blend of throw spill
225+ Lm output
My reference light is the JetBeam RRT-0, but I don't like the 123 battery size (without using the extender). My preferred light would essentially be an RRT-0 with a larger power source.
Does, or can, such a light exist?
