Can someone please tell me what's wrong with these K-106's!?

I have 2 Akoray k-106 lights, and I cannot for the life of me get them into programming mode. I have tried dozens of times and it will not work. The posts I read about simply state, turn it on and half click 5 or 6 times real quick. Well, that doesn't work. I have tried it over and over and over and over. I have tried leaving it off for 5seconds to minutes then trying. I have tried 5 half press, 6 half, 7 half, 8 half. I have tried from each mode, same thing, nothing.



These seem to be decent lights for $13, but going though modes every time I turn it on is annoying.
