Bum D11?

I saw that there was a thread running about quite a few D11's with extremely high parasitic drain. Is this a limited problem found in a certain production run or does it seem to be across the board? Can you be certain your buying a good one or is it luck of the draw? I was considering getting one for christmas but with all the negative stuff I've read now I'm not so sure.



As a side note I emailed Nitecore to ask if they were considering producing a D11 with the old short cuts instead of the flashing modes and they didn't bother to email me back. I wanted a D11 because of all the awesome reviews about the D10 but overall it seems like nitecore might be a bum company.
