Hi everybody, got lumintop td15 and ray x60.
Both are nice, but td15 has a better circuit.
Ray x60 does not have a good one, lets see why:
2x18350:
Input: 8+V, 0,75amp
Output: 3,3V 1,16amp
efficiency: 63%
1x18650
input: 4+V, 1,3amp
output: 3,2V 0,9amp
efficiency: 55%
These are really bad numbers. So, i modded it with 4x7135 driver with a total of about 1,4amp output power. Using my multimeter and luxmeter and taking into account that selfbuilt has made very good measurements, i have:
input: 1,44amp
Lux reading@1m: 22600 lux
Lux reading@5m and calculated to 1m back: 24600 lux
ceil bounce testing for total lumens: i am estimating about 320otf, based on the facts that it is only a bit lower than td15(that i have too) and the performance increase i saw in comparison to selfbuilt's results.
So this is the way to go, get and mod it, it is the best compact(?, less than 45mm) flashlight so far for xp-g!No donut hole too, like td15!!!And yes, it throws noticeably better than td15!
