So I purchaed a 6D Mag with the intentions to do some modifications to it. I finally decided since I had some Cree MCEs laying around to just use those with the DX 3 Cree reflector. Here is what I have so far. I finished soldering today and fired up the Crees with 13.7V at 2.1 amps. The MCEs are each wired in series so their Vf is about 13.7 volts and at 700ma... I wired 3 in parallel.
I will be using 4 IMR cells to power it up and H6CC to drive them. Ran them with my power supply today and they get HOT!!!
