Can't get 2C Mag Switch Out

So I bought a 2C Maglite from Amazon to do an XM-L build, got it a couple days ago, and proceeded to take it apart. The problem is, I can't get the switch out. I did some searching on CPF and found out it is a common problem but people are generally able to get it out with some perseverance and the correct sized (2mm) hex wrench. Well...I worked at it for about an hour with every size hex wrench that would fit but I just can't get it out. It seems like the wrench won't drop into the hole.



Any ideas would be appreciated. I'm ready to throw this thing off a cliff.:hairpull:
