I need to get a 2x AA light for my elderly father-in-law. It must have a simple UI -- no strobe, SOS, etc, and a simple tail click switch. One or at most two brightness levels.
It should run *well* on 2x *alkaline* AAs -- NOT nominally on alkaline with NiMH preferred.
Is there such a light with a recent-generation emitter?
