Will Energizer Ultimate Lithium AAA cells in a ITP A3 EOS hurt it / void warranty?

I am wanting to get some lights for my sister and brother in-law. Something affordable since I also have to buy for their 2 children.

I saw the ITP A3 EOS looks decent at ~80lumen in a multimode light. However, I've noticed many manufacturers state their runtimes using NiMH cells which aren't practical if you just want to put a battery in and forget about it.

I don't want to recommend using alkalines since they can leak, but I am not sure if this light can handle the Energizer AAA Lithium cells.

I'd hate to recommend a battery that results in them burning up their light.

Is Lithiums not recommended by the manufacturer?

Thanks for your help!
