Nope, this is not your father's Space Needle II. This is not even your Own Space Needle II -- this is the offspring. This is what would happen if the SN2 mated with the LG5.
So when they send out the birth announcements and you head down to the flashlight hospital and look through the window where all the newborns are, this is what you'd see:
Needless to say, even at this age it already stands on its head rather well...
This mod was made possible by a custom machined part, shown here with bevel up and then bevel down:
The bevel was not necessary to make it work, but it served to make a smoother transition from the Mag head's curvature into the Brinkmann LX's body. And I imagine it would look smoother still if I had a pewter colored Mag head handy:
But looks are not everything, there must be proof in the pudding -- but not to worry, there was plenty:
6,940 lux in a light under 6 inches tall, using "just" a V2T...
I have better-binned 5Ws available, and I have the machinist standing by. This is a feeler to see who might be interested in owning something like this. I know not the final cost at this time because I need the machine shop's estimate for their end, which is understandably tied to how many we have made.
So please sound off here and as always, Thanks for looking.
