Hi All,
I'm after an EDC with high CRI. A HDS RA Clicky in high CRI would be perfect but they are only available from the UK for far more money than when they are available in the USA.
I want something pocketable, 1 x CR123 is perfect but up to 2 x AA is fine.
I want a floody beam, not throw. It's only going to be used for close up QA inspection work, hence the high color accuracy requirement. No hot spot at all would be perfect, like a McGizmo Sapphire, but as long as it's a smooth transition that's ok.
100 lumen or more is good.
New, used or modded is fine. Looks/cosmetics is not important.
Budget is flexible, $150 or so would be ok but happy to go higher if needed.
I PMd Tekno Cowboy and he can mod a Novatac if I get one. Apparently the lights got for about $100 and his service is $50.
Anyone got comments on the end result?
What would you suggest?
