Hi, I just spent all night fiddling with my newly acquired seoul p7 led and lm338 voltage regulator. I wired the voltage regulator with a .47 ohm wirewound power resistor to make a constant current circuit. The only problem is when I power her up off my 18volt dewalt pack she draws 5-6 amps of current? Why? Also she heats up the heatsink reaaaal fast so I wonder if heat is my problem?
