I've been looking for a small, durable AA light in the $50-$75 price range and both seem like very good options.
From what I've seen, both have fairly bright highs (~200 non-ANSI lumens), and extremely efficient moonlight modes (Quark: 53 days, Zebralight: 32 days, 2 x 16 days).
The pieces that concern me are build quality and warranties. Quark has a 10-year warranty (excluding accidental drops), and Zebralight has a 1-year warranty. I've read that Quarks are generally well-made, but have the occasional bad batches and fragility issues.
Anyone mind weighing in with feedback / recommendations? Are their any better AA options out there that I've missed?
