I have a Mag filter kit with the rubber anti-roll bezel and amber, blue and red lens. Will this fit on the TL?

Yup, but it's a pretty tight fit. When I put it on, the TL's bezel/lens ring would spin, and twist the wires that run to the lamp assembly, which has the potential to twist the lamp assembly connectors off, breaking the lamp.
So...I untangled the wires, and really tightened the lens ring, and with a tiny bit of water has lube, slipped the anti-roll ring on...Works good, and protected the light.

I ordered the TL a few days ago, so unfortunately I don't have a point of reference as to how the light disassembles.
Would I have to take the ring off to change battery/lamp assembly or can I keep it on semi-permanently?
