Are there any studies about how effective the Surefire Defender is as a last ditch blunt force device - specifically the strike bezel.
I have the NRA model (bought from NRAstore.com), and from a pure light output perspective it seems impressive.
But the strike bezel thing... does it actually work? It seems relatively dull when I touch it.... like you would have to hit an attacker with everything you have to do enough damage to make them think twice? Are there any real world examples of it stopping an attack?
