I just joined this forum and looking for a personal carry flashlight to be used while walking approximately 5 miles along the sea shore at night. I currently use a Ray O Vac 3w Sportsman Extreme ($19.00) and would like a very bright flashlight. I read the review on the ThruNite Caapult V2 which seems like a great flashight and was wondering how it compares to a BOREALIS 1050 lumens lashlight which is touted as the brightest flashlight under $500. Any recommendations on other considerations are appreciated. I like a flashlight that uses recharable batteries is possible.
