I have other Novatacs and like the idea of 2xRCR123 in a light so I bought a Special Ops. I tried to have my Novatsac classic 2xAA battery tube and tailswitch to fire up the Special Ops head and no go.
I also tried the 250 click Easter Egg and when it gets to 250 clicks it does the quick double flash but then turns off without going into programming mode. I am wondering if anyone else noticed this. I would be upset to know Novatac changed the circuit to keep the trick from working. I got to the 250 click point 4 times now and it just blinks quickly and then turns off.
