I had a thought and maybe this would work, maybe not. I would need the tech informed to tell me. Fenix makes a separate battery tube for their TK lights to accept the 18650 vs CR123. I don't remember the part number.
Currently, there are two 18650s accepted by the TK30 so I believe I would theoretically be able to add even one more 18650 for a total of three 18650 batteries. The additional hour of runtime would be great, and yes I know it would make the flashlight longer. But would it also cause more current to go to the LED and damage or overload it? Does it work like that too, or does it only work with increasing runtimes?
