What LED light to pick as a work/emergency light

Hello every one, this is my first post.

I am looking into a small flashlight that I will use as a work/emergency light. I am looking at Olight T10 and Quark Mini123.

I am going to work in the machine room on ships in 6 months time, typical work day can be 12 hours or more. And if the lights go out the work day is over when the lights come back on or after 12 hours, witch ever comes last.

It gets dark in a machine room, no windows or skylights.

So I need a small, light weight, long burn time, water proof and since there is the of chance of ending up in the water, a strobe and/or SOS signal would be nice.

When it comes to practical lumen's for close up work, I find the Maglite LED D cell to give great work light, also several cheap LED's from hardware stores to be good lights for my purpose, but they lack in burn time, quality, light modes and just plain to big and heavy.

So fare I have found both 4Sevens Quark mini 123 and Olight T10 to be good choices. I also like Streamligths Sidewinder and sidewinder compact, but I don't need that many light modes and really don't need IR.

The lights must be small enough to carry 24/7.

Must give practical work light, say 20-40 lumen's.

Strobe and/or SOS is good.

Also a high setting for searching for people in the water is also a plus.

Any one got any other lights to suggest?

Also, any other light modes that might be useful?

Thank you
