Hello

I bought a new Surefire E2L-AA. It´s amazing! Perfect construction (like all my Surefires) with good output. I love it´s design, size, hand feel...

Until today I only had 1xCR123 Surefire lights. I have L1, E1B, E1L, and I only used primaries CR123 batteries.

In E2L-AA user´s manual Surefire recommend to not use rechargeable batteries, only primaries. But I have tons of AA batteries (Eneloops too...) due to my others AA lights (Fenix and 4Sevens).

I know primary CR123 chemistry is different from rechargeable NiMH AA chemistry.

My question: Can I use my rechargeable AA´s in my new Surefire E2L-AA?

I tried yesterday night and looks perfect. It showed the same output of the lithium primaries that came with the light, with perfect beam/output (no flickering or any other problem with the beam during my test).

Thanks for your help.
