For sale is a SureFire KL4 head which has an Osram Dragon, 940nm Infrared emitter installed. It is a Lux V model housing using a SureFire buck driver from an SSC P4 model KL4 to power it. At the tail it draws 570ma on a single li-ion and 380ma on 2 x CR123. This means that the Dragon is being driven just shy of it's 1A max current. The beam is pure flood that bathes everything within about 30 yards with IR light. A faint dark red glow can be seen at the led if observed directly.
