This isn't the biggest or baddest story and someone's life wasn't saved but it's just one of those stories where someone who thinks I'm a flashlight kook had to eat crow.
Yesterday there was a very important conference at our office and photos needed to be taken. We offered to do so but when it came time to take them, the camera didn't work because the batteries were dead.
I'm sort of the "go to office guru" and so the boss asked if I could make it work but time was an issue because some of the attendees were in a time crunch.
Fortunately, the camera used two 123 batteries and I just happened to have an SC1 in my truck with 6 SF batteries. 5 minutes later everything was fine but the boss had to admit that he would have been in a world of hurt if I didn't have the batteries.
Next time he's not going to dis me when I shine my M3 in his eyes!
