First of all I found out last night there is a name for my problem flashaholic I just love it!!!
Secondly my disease made me buy a cabelas xpg staried at the 540 lumens. I got it home only to find the battery shot and no way to replace it. But now that I have found this I would love to get some suggestions.
The xpg concept is great but now I see there are so many options that I would like to hear what you guys think is the way to go. Its primary use will be for fishing trips in Canada as well as for emergency lighting on my farm. I want it to be rechargeable or at least able to be refit with a rechargeable unit. I do carry a solar pak that can use a car adapter so it can be recharged in camp. (almost everything about that xpg was very useable in concept if that helps)
