just recieved my Streamlight 3AA LS and i have to say it was extactly what i expected, a well made light for only $35. sure, the beam isn't perfect but it does have quite a throw and is mostly white with a hint of violet. for its intended use i really don't see a better light for the price. you really can't go wrong. thanks to Quickbeam's review and other CPF members posts i purchaed a great all around light for a great price.
