Folks, I'm purchasing a replacement EDC light next week, and unfortunately these purchases are few and far between for me right now, so I need to make a good choice.

I need some opinions from the members on which light you think is a better option, based on my needs listed below. Both are excellent products, but I'd like to hear from people who have some direct knowledge or experience as to why one light may or may not be better than the other. Thanks gents!

Purpose / Reqs:

- Residential nightime illumination at home (I live next to a very large, dark, greenbelt).

- Walking my dog w/ wife 6 yr. old twins at night around the neighborhood (dark areas).

- EDC w/ my Concealed Weapons Permit (self-defense carry).

- CR123A 18650 Li-Ion power capability.

- Excellent reliability build quality. (I remember reading about a machined thread problem on the Jetbeam lights. Should I be concerned?)

- The ability to light up a very dark greenbelt, out to approx. 100-150ft max. at times, if needed.

After reading many a review, my two options are:

1. - Eagletac T20C2 MKII (Cool White CREE XP-G R5, 380 Lumens, w/ orange peel reflector)

2. - JetBeam Jet-III M (Cool White CREE XP-G R5 , 355 Lumens, w/ orange peel reflector)

Thanks for your feedback!
