Could someone tell me where I could find the following Led, blue 3.7V 2600 mcd 3mm. It doesnt have to be exact except for the 3mm. Also somewhere in Canada would be better for me .

Thanks for the link. My only problem is I think they might be to bright. I am replacing the LEDs in my car ie. powerlock and window switchs. I may be wrong, I am not to familiar with the brightness.

The LED Im looking at is the 3mm Blue 4000mcd, a friend told me that if I put a bigger resistor in it should lower the MCD, is this true? And if so what size would I need to cut the MCD by half?

Yes, a larger resistor would dim the led to a more reasonable brightness. I would try a 470ohm resistor and if that is not dim enough for ya go to the next highest. Resistors are cheap. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
