I have a Surefire G3 with the 120 lumen bulb in there. I'm thinking of converting it to an LED. I've read the Malkoff stuff is really good, so I will probably go with that.
I read this list and noticed some high-lumen stuff on there.

Am I understanding correctly that since these are drop ins you literally just take out the one thats in there, drop these in and screw it down, and use the same batteries and shine away? Or am I missing something? Im new to this so I dont want to be expecting one thing and get another, or need some other stuff to make it work.
Here's a really dumb question for you guys... I have no idea how battery voltages work. If I put two 3 volt batteries together, do I have 6 volts, or just longer lasting 3 volts? Sorry for the really lame question, but I really just don't know. :duh2:
