I'm so lost right now, and I don't even know where to start. I was stuck on Fenix lights for some reason, so that's what I was comparing. Please help me find what will be best for me.
I'm looking at getting a edc light, and I don't know which I should get.
LD15 is a little sleeker, and just a tad narrower. More simple interface...turns on in high at 117 lumens, then low at 8 lumens. ~$40 (would rather have low, then high)
PD20 is a little more tacticool, but a little wider (not too significant though). More complex interface, but more function. Loose cap, turns on in low 9, then medium 47, then high 94 lumens, then sos. Tighten the cap, and you get turbo 180 lumens, then strobe. ~55-60
I'd like a AA light, because I'd always be able to find a replacement battery if I'm out somewhere, but I think I can be convinced to get a CR123.
Here's my criteria...
• max of 4 long ~100mm
• max of ~22mm wide
• at least a low and high mode...preferably more
• not a AAA, and not something too small so it doesn't fit nicely in the hand.
• Prefer to keep below $50 if possible
