I received a few xm-l leds in the mail the other day. Decided to mod a P7 Dx light with one of the new xm-l t6 1b :thumbsup:.
Here is what the light looks like
due to how the p7 is and the xm-l are mounted differently, I bored out the hole to fit the board so the contacts wouldn't touch the aluminum reflector
Had to put a small piece of aluminum under the led to allow it to sit higher so itwould focus properly, also extended the wires from the driver to the led, since i accidentally ripped the insulation of the negative side
and here is the final product:naughty:
Although it doesn't seem any brighter..... which the batteries aren't fully charged but were charged not but 2 weeks ago and haven't hardly been used.....
