Hello Everyone,
I saw from one of the forums that petroleum jelly is used to lubricate the o-rings of water-resistant flashlights.
My question is this: won't petroleum-based products make the rubber hard and eventually fail?
Yes the secure caps of these flashlights turn easier when opening and replacing batteries, but as i said, wont the o-rings become hard and fail?
Just hoping for some enlightenment from the flashlight gurus!
Thank you.
