Hi all, I received my Catapult V2 XM-L today. It is very well built and solid as a tank.
The beam pattern is perfect : a bright hot spot with bright and usefull corona around it and a less bright but still usefull spill.
But I'm very disapointed by the hotspot with the center darker than the outside of the hotspot. It is not noticeable at close range due to the intensity but at more than 10 meters (and this light is designed for throw and not for close range use) the darker center is obvious. It is exactly the same, with less intensity of course, than my HP20...
Guys can you tell me if you experience the same, do you think I must return it for change ? I was so excited to have this flashlight and now so disapointed...:shakehead
Also like somenone said in the review section it's hard to switch from high to low mode because with all the tubes you can't tell witch one you unscrew...:ironic:
