I compared my low serial number (handpicked for brightness) KL4 with my brother's low serial number KL4 and mine was brighter. He got a TW4 with a KL4 serial numbered in the 5000 range. I swapped out his TW4's KL4 onto my L4 and noticed that it was considerably brighter than my own. Anyone else observe that the newer KL4s are brighter?

may have just been a lucky bin #... Better bins have become available in the past few months.

I don't think SF would have changed the electronics mid-production without someone on here already mentioning it.

I have only one L4 and I cannot make a KL4 comparison. I have two KL1, and while one is bright purple, same brightness of the LSHP, the other is greenish and dim, dimmer than my L1. And it has an higher serial # than the good one. Definetively, it is a Lottery...

I used to believe there is some noticable difference between 2 bin #s till a friend, who got both P an Q bin LSHP's, told me that he cant notice any diffrence in term of brightness.
