So I have a Quark Turbo 123x2, ZL SC60, and a Preon Revo. Among a few others. I have a boatload of AA batteries sitting in a closet and I don't want them to expire. Therefore I am looking for the best single AA flashlight there is in the $40-$65 dollar price range. I am familiar with the Quark series and their interface is ok, but I'd like to try something else out. I had a Quark AA2 that has a twisty and I wasn't a huge fan of it so I gave it to my dad for Christmas. I also think the 2 AA body is a little bit too large for this segment of flashlight I am looking for.

So I guess the question is, if you were on an island, had 1 AA battery, and could take any flashlight in the world given your $60 dollar or so budget, what would you take?
