Just curious if anyone has successfuly modded the following single AAA lights ?

I've recently added these two lights to my collection and really like them but I'm just not happy with their output. I am comparing them to my 4sevens Preon Revo (69 otf lumens) and a Peak Eiger #8 which is close to the Revo but not quite as bright. I run Energizer lithium primary cells in my lights.
The Killer I can almost live with the output but if there is a chance for more I'd like it, the Mako is just doesn't put out enough for me though.
Has anyone modded these lights and if so how where the results ?
