I'll start by saying, I love seeing picture build logs fellow CPF members produce, this is my first attempt to produce a build log... :)







This is the build of my 800+ lumen mag for $55 project... for background on the project, please see the design page:

How do I get that price?

  • 3D MAG led host, black friday special: $15
  • Shinningbeam 2.8amp driver : $7.50
  • Custom heatsink (thanks Tekno_Cowboy): $15
  • XML LED: ~ $10
  • That leaves a little $$ for consumables... wire, epoxy, etc

Great build thread! But, its missing something. I'm interested in seeing beamshots :D, particularly to see the color of this 2B bin.
