Hello, My name's Peter and I just joined the forum after searching topics for some time now.
I found a lot of useful information about the LED lghts.
I recently build my firs LED light using an 2W LED from the sylvania bulb I purchased at BJ'S (3 pack).
I made a Joule Thief circuit to run it from 2 AA batteries. I assume it will last at least 30 minutes. It's not to bright but only a little less bright than the bulb itself plugged into the outlet.
I would appreciate comments and ideas.
I was wondering if it's possible to build something similar that will give out about 200 lumens+, and last 2+ hours from 2 AA batteries (3v).
If so what kind of emiter and driver should be used?
