Hi All - New to this forum, need recommendation for a flashlight.
1. Usage - Outdoor, Hiking, Camping etc. Versatile to be used indoors in low output mode would be preferred
2. Bulb type - LED (I would prefer latest in LED technology)
3. Size - anything between 4 - 7
4. Body type - rugged to withstand wear and tear and occasional drops, I would prefer a metal body. Tactical flashlights are fine with me.
5. Lumens - As bright as possible, definitely something above 150.
6. Battery - Strong preference for AA / AAA. Regulated current.
7. Focus - Adjustable focus is preferred. But I read on this forum that it is really not needed and restricts available options too
9. Throw - Approx 150m or so. More the better
10. Water resistant - Should work fine in heavy rains etc. I do not intend to use it under water though
11. Price - pretty ok with anything below USD $125. I am looking at a flashlight which will last me for quite a while

Infact I had almost made up my mind on MT7 but then read some comments on this forum.
But I am no expert in flashlight and reviews have confused me more. :shakehead
