I've been thinking about a quote I either heard or read and I liked it at the time and now can't remember enough of the exact words used to search for it effectively...
I remember the gist of it meaning something like:
-the true purpose of a design can't be seen from it's inner workings or can't be realized while it is being designed
-kind of like hindsight is 20/20 but more like saying you cant see how something works or what its end result is while you are working on it or before it is finished.
Maybe I'm nuts and there was no such quote; and I'm not doing a very good job of describing it :/. I kind of felt like I saw it on CPF for some reason.
Anyone? It's driving me nuts!
