Black Diamond headlamp switch operation

I have a BD headlamp, several years old, but I don't know the model, and I have lost the instruction manual.



It is similar to the Helion. One Xenon bulb, four outer LED lamps, battery pack on rear with four AA batteries.



I can easily switch among brightness levels and strobe in LED mode, but can't seem to get it to switch to Xenon spot mode. I haven't used it long enough to burn out the bulb.



Momentary switch press does nothing but change brightness. Holding it down only turns it off and on.



Anyone have any tips on how to switch between modes?
