My mother lives alone on 5 acres of wooded property in an area outside a small town. Her good flashlight is some no-name incandescent with wretched output.
She really liked the output of the M20 I took last time I went to visit, but she's mystified by anything that's not very simple to operate.
I want to get her a decent main light with the following characteristics:
- easy to use (multilevel with last setting memory qualifies)
- easy on the wallet
- easy to feed (AA or AAA format preferred since she understands those)
- decent runtimes in the 200-300 lumen range
- floody is better than throwy; max distance is probably ~80 yards, mostly less.
She also wants a keychain light. Is there a decent, inexpensive non-twisty?
