Quark Question, Comparison

A friend of mine has a Streamlight Stinger DS C4 rechargeable. How does a Quark compare to the throw of this light? I know the Quark is a smaller light but, this is about the only light I have to compare to. I am leaning towards a Quark in the AA.2 then add a 18650 or 123 tube later, or should I go another route? Turbo, another light? Light will be an EDC, fishing, camping, etc. I have a tree line (100yds or less) at the end of my property line and would like to be able to see it on max, is this possible?
