To all those who love HDS lights, in particular the clicky, I have a question for you:
I'm a man who likes simple UI's. I don't mind doing some programming in advance, but I like the operation to be simple... some of my favourite UI's are the Quark Tactical UI, the Surefire E-series two mode UI, and the LX2 UI.
I love the look/apparent quality of HDS lights, and they obviously have quite the reputation here. I'm interested in trying one, but I'm a bit worried I wouldn't like the UI. The instructions make it seem fairly complex. I'm sure I could get used to it, but my question is:
Do those of you who like fairly simple UI lights still like the UI on HDS lights? Is it always quick to get to whatever mode you need?
And are there any programming options to simplify it a bit?
