Has anyone tried these flashlights as featured in the Strategos Store at www.186thousand.com ?

They look interesting. 123 cell powered. One, two, and three cell models. Waterproof to 20 meters. The TL-2 is a two cell model. It is rated at 95 lumens.

I almost ripped my thumb open on one at the SHOT Show 2002 - the TailCap with silver toggle switch was dangerously sharp-edged! I'm interested in reading reviews of the more conventional push button switch version.

Laser Devices has been around for a while, they're not the Strategos Lights.

My older 6P tailcap says: "LASER PRODUCTS Fountain Valley, Ca Sure-Fire". The Surefire and Laser Devices logos are somewhat similar.

I don't know the history. Perhaps they saw a way they could do something better. I've not read any side-by-side users reports so I can't comment on whether they are any good as weapon-mounted lights. I believe the bezel assembly is used by the LLM01 (or similar model) which has been seen on British Army and German Military rifles.
