So, I'm brand new to this forum and brand new to flashlights beyond the plastic ones used to buy when they came with a 6-pack of batteries at the supermarket.
I'm getting into EDC and would like a flashlight (or torch, as we call them here in Australia).
* Not too big, it will go in my EDC bag
* Black or matt silver
* A nice amount of knurling (matching my Rotring 600 roller and fountain)
* AA or 123 battery
* General usage (around the house and yard, occasional camping, reading in bed, etc)
Lights i'm considering include:
* Eagletac P20C2 MKII
* Fenix LD20/10 R5
* Fenix PD31
* Jetbeam JET-I PRO/EX V3.0
* Nitecore Infilux IFD2
* Quark AA² Tactical, S2 Edition
* Quark 123² Tactical, S2 Edition
Are there any others I should consider?
Are there any advantages of 123 Li's over AA's? Apart from brighter, longer lasting light from the 123's and easy availability of general household usefulness of the AA's?
