I just picked up a HDS 170e and let me tell you, I found my perfect edc general use light. Now I need a differnt kinda beast.
I want a very well built light capable of throwing a nice hotspot at about 100yrds but with enough spill to use in the yard or in a cave or what have you. I was thinking about the Jetbeam RRT-1 r2 but I don't think it has enough close range use to be fitting the bill.
The light must also be cr123 and 18650 capable and I want at least 2 hour run times on high.
did I mention that I Need it to be at least and preferably a 2 stage light that uses a clicky type of selector. I'm not fond of selector rings after my experiences with my kroma and the ring getting stripped so easy. If you can prove me wrong on the jetbeam rings please do.
