Fenix LD10 update and question

I posted a while back questions looking for a 1 AA light. The Fenix fit all of my criteria and I find it to be an excellent light. Thank you all that made the recommendations and for steering me in this direction.



I like the clip, but the ends protrude outward around the light, presumably to make it easier to put on and take off. Has anyone bent the ends so they don't stick out and they then fit flush against the light. I would like to do this but I'm afraid to damage the clip or light. I like it that much. If someone has done this, can you post picks and tell me about your experience. Does it damage/ruin the clip?
