Question about my Eagletac M3C4 Xm-l tailcap clicky

Just received the ET M3C4 Xm-l and I been happy with it, I am just wondering why did ET change the tailcap clicky design from the previous M2C4? Was there a problem with it? Is that old clicky intercheangeable with the new M3C4 light? Anyone want to sell his old one?
