In the Standby Mode, my RL-3328 is drawing 30ma. Anyone else seeing this?
Thanks in advance,
Dave

Yes!

This RL-3328 had alot of promise.....on paper, but it is now my least used light.

I've come to the conclusion that you cannot keep the bateries in the light when not in use due to the power drain in standby mode.

Also the RL-3328 is not "Regulated", so it will not maintain constant brightness.

To make matters worse, one of the Ultrafire batteries sent with the light will no longer charge!

I wish I was aware of the soon to be released Fenix TK70.....that light will be powered by 4 D-Cell Nihm Batteries and will produce 2000 Lumen due to the Triple Cree XM-L Set-Up.

Oh well, Live-and-learn....

Wow. I can't believe its not regulated. What were they thinking. How much more would it have cost? $40, maybe? I can't see it costing more than that. Damn shame. Had potential.

It has to be regulated (buck circuit) to reduce voltage from 7,2 to ~3,7V.

Maybe I just have a bad battery then.....

But Led Lenser lights are not regulated, and my P17 has two brightness levels.
