Any coonhunters on this forum? Im looking for a light for my father-in-law specifically for night hunting. A low power walk around mode coupled with a high power spotlight mode would be ideal, in a package that is easily carried. Handheld lights can be tricky, as he is frequently managing multiple dogs and tracking equipment.
I was considering the Magicshine 900, a cycling light, as it is similar to some of the other rigs he has. However, I'm not sure how good of a spotlight it is. This is essential for finding the racoons after the dogs have treed.
Trying to keep it under $100, lightweight, LED, durable. I'm pretty new to the flashlight world - the fanciest thing I have is a Maglite 3D LED.
